Whether it’s a novel or a memoir, a self-help book or something that’s calling you but hasn’t yet revealed its form, your book needs to be written, and it needs to be written by you. If it’s time to write your book, your soul is an invaluable resource that will help you every step of the way.
Soul Writing Manuscript Group
This small, intimate group is for people who have a book or a project that’s a deep call from the soul, and are ready to commit to the completion of their manuscript.
Writers of novels, memoirs, self-help, and other forms of non-fiction are all welcome. You’re also welcome if you know you want to write a book but aren’t yet sure what the book is. This program will meet you where you are, and guide you to find your own true path to write the book that’s calling to you to be written.
Note: If you’re a poet wanting to complete a book of poems, let’s talk. I am a poet and have worked with poets for years, this group may work for you as well. Then again, you may benefit from working more closely with a group of poets.
How It Works:
The group is limited to three people so that each person gets plenty of personal attention on their writing. We meet twice a month for two hours via Zoom, so you can join from anywhere in the world. Each time we meet you submit up to five pages of writing for review from me and other group members. Then, on the call, each person gets 30 minutes of time to talk about their writing and any issues that have emerged. (For poets, you would most likely submit up to three pages, but we'd discuss that individually.)
Why do we meet for two hours? Two hours allows each participant to receive individual coaching and feedback on their writing, while also allowing time for the group as a whole to come together and form a strong bond of connection. At the opening of every session I will guide you in a meditation to connect you with your book from the level of your soul.
Sometimes we’ll write together on the call. Sometimes the writing will be “soul inquiry writing” so that you can receive any message your soul has for you at whatever phase you happen to be in your writing process. Other times I’ll give writing exercises designed to spark your creativity and jump-start the next section of your book.
Setting Clear Goals To Guide Your Writing
At the onset of the program, everyone engages in a process of setting goals and intentions for their project. Every month you’ll check in with your goals, making adjustments as necessary.
I bring the soul in to guide you at every stage of the writing, including setting your goals. The calls themselves are a very sacred space and a very productive space.
This group is a time to make serious progress on your writing, in a deeply supportive structure, a very small group where you are assured plenty of attention on your writing and your process.
Making progress toward completion of a book usually requires a combination of enough structure and accountability to stay consistent with your writing, as well as attention to the challenges that can emerge in the process. I offer this Soul Writing Manuscript Group so we can attend to both.
One of the gifts of having a small, intimate group is that it’s tailored to the individuals in the program. You have the benefit of group support, which helps in many ways with accountability and moving forward on your project. At the same time, you get lots of personal attention, for solving problems and getting input on your project in ways that are custom designed for you.
For example:
- You will receive individualized writing and reading assignments as needed. As I determine where you are in your project, and what’s going on in your writing, I will often have specific suggestions just for you. This is one of the benefits in being in such a small group, you get considerable private attention for you and your project.
- You will also get support for the fears and doubts that often arise in the writing process, especially when you make a commitment to something you really care about. Being part of a small group of kindred spirits can make a world of difference when parts of you feel like you just can’t do it. We’ve all been there, and I want you to move through those fears and doubts and stay true to your dreams.

Since starting my work with you, I've come to understand and accept my potential as a writer. I no longer doubt myself. This is because of the guidance and support you've shown from the beginning. You have gently led me on a journey of spiritual growth and a rebirth of my love for myself. With your help I've found healing through my writing. You've taught me not to overthink but to just do what I love....write.
My writing has improved tremendously with your advice. I now value my writing in a way I never thought possible. Your belief in me and my writing has given me the courage to continue my "soul Journey".
